Today, Lenovo launched its most recent budget-friendly smartphone, the A6000, in India. The handset is available exclusively through online retailer Flipkart with a exceptionally competitive price tag of Rs. 6,999 ($113) — making it one of, it not, the cheapest 4G-enabled, dual-SIM device on the market.
As you’d expect, the A6000 isn’t too impressive with regards to performance, purely because it’s not intended to be. In order to keep the cost down, Lenovo has opted for a rather modest set of specifications which includes a 5.0-inch IPS display, a Snapdragon 401 chipset, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.
The A6000 will, however, be kept up to date with all the latest software. Straight out of the box it will run a “vanilla” build of Android 4.4 KitKat, but Lenovo has announced that it will receive the much-anticipated Lollipop update once all the necessary changes have been made to the operating system.
If you’re in the market for a reliable smartphone that won’t break the bank and reside in India then the A6000 is definitely worth your attention. To find out more about the handset — simply click the source link below.
