Gameloft dishes details on upcoming Modern Combat 5: Blackout

Gameloft’s Modern Combat series is one of the better known first person shooters available on mobile devices. Its combination of storylines and revolutionary mobile graphics have made the series a hit.
“Modern Combat 5: Blackout” is due to come out some point this year, but there are a lot of unknowns about the game.
However, Gameloft has provided some information today regarding the next installment of the MC series.
The game’s name, Modern Combat 5: Blackout, has been confirmed, and will feature a similar tour around the world as the other games in the series do. The storyline will begin in Venice, Italy and gamers will start playing as the main protagonist, Phoenix. The terrorist group you’ll be fighting against has a WMD, and you’ll be tasked with putting an end to any terrorist plots and retrieve the weapons.
Tokyo will also be a familiar setting for the game. The multiplayer mode should also be back, but Gameloft didn’t comment on the subject. Gameloft did say they’ll have even more information on the game to share in the coming weeks, so check back for more if you’re interested.
